JUTC bus stoned in Lakes Pen

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) driver and passengers narrowly escaped injury yesterday after a bus was stoned in the Lakes Pen area of St Catherine.
According to the driver, a man boarded the bus and immediate started cursing and behaving boisterously. The driver said he reprimanded the passenger who continued to behave unruly. After disembarking the man threw stones on the public passenger vehicle.
The attacker was eventually held by cops from the St Catherine South Police Division and is now in custody.
Cops from St Andrew North, in whose division the crime occurred, are investigating the incident.
