A Jamaican airport worker is being commended for returning an iPad packed with US $13,000 which he found in a terminal at the Hollywood International Airport in Florida.
The Sun Sentinel reports that Patrick Morgan, who runs a cleaning service at the airport, noticed the iPad as he was working in the early morning of December 1 last year.
He said he opened it and saw the money, and immediately called security.
The owner eventually showed up, and Morgan was rewarded with US$60 by him.
And yesterday, the Sun Sentinel said, Morgan was further rewarded with a cheque for US$625 by his boss for his honesty.
Airport officials also honored Morgan with a plaque.
The paper reports that Morgan will deposit the cheque. He gave the $60 to a homeless woman.
