MORE than 20 exotic dancers from the Caribbean who went to Barbados to work, were caught this past weekend in an immigration swoop.
The Barbados Nation reports that immigration and the police raided the Tasty Treats nightclub where the women — mostly from Jamaica and Guyana — were held.
The police public relations officer said 10 other people were held during the joint exercise.
They were acting on information about illegal activity, ranging from gambling to drug trafficking and the playing of loud music, the Nation said.
