KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Kingston and St Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAC) is set to host a treat for some of Kingston’s homeless people on Sunday, which it says is part of its effort to provide support and care for the poorest and less fortunate.
The treat is to be hosted by Delroy Williams, new mayor of Kingston, along with teams from the KSAC at the St William Grant Park in downtown Kingston, Silver Slipper Plaza in Cross Roads, and KSAC’s Car Park at St Lucia Avenue in New Kingston.
The KSAC said activities, which are set to start at 10:00 am at all locations and end at 1:00 pm, will involve serving of meals and light entertainment.
KSAC said approximately 1,000 indigent people will benefit.
