KINGSTON, Jamaica – The murder trial of entertainer Vybz Kartel and four co-accused continues today in the Home Circuit court.

Last Friday the key prosecution witness was accused under cross examination by the defence of selling out Kartel and his associates “for 30 pieces of silver”.

The Defence suggested that the witness concocted the story about the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams, with the assistance of the police, in order to avoid being slapped with a gun charge.

Kartel, whose real name is Adijah Palmer along with four other men are on trial for the 2011 murder of Williams, believed committed at a house in the upscale community of Havendale, St Andrew.
