KINGSTON, Jamaica – Co-sponsors of Television Jamaica's (TVJ) Schools' Challenge Quiz, LASCO, in congratulating Kingston College (KC) for the school’s 11th victory in the competition said that the company pleased to have been a part of the “Jamaican institution” celebrating its 45th year.

School’s Challenge Quiz started in 1969 with St Hugh’s High School victorious over KC in that year’s final.

KC, now in their 20th final, were up against relative new-comers Campion College in their first after a mere three years of participation in the competition.

In a closely contested match held April 1 at TVJ’s studio the schools were separated by the last question, answered correctly by KC, leaving the final score at 27 to 25.

"I am immensely proud of the boys; they have truly exemplified the KC spirit 'The brave may fall, but never yield'. The team was focused, motivated and have worked very hard to the very end for this victory," said KC principal Dave Myrie.
