Thursday, February 28, 2013

Adrian Bryan was counting his blessings yesterday as the used motor car he bought just hours before got out of control and ran into bushes at the edge of the Comfort Hall Main Road in Manchester. As the vehicle -- a white Toyota Corolla hatchback -- lost control it descended the hill. "When I take a stock nothing was in the engine, no power. Me draw up the hand brake but the hand brake fail and the car start go down the hill at [high] speed, me a tell you," Bryan told the Jamaica Observer minutes after the accident. Here Bryan looks on in despair at the vehicle. (Photo: Lionel Rookwood)
