Look out for fraudulent cheques in Manchester!

MANDEVILLE, Manchester — The Manchester Parish Council yesterday advised members of the public that fraudulent cheques, bearing the name of the council, were being circulated in the parish.
The council warned yesterday that the cheques, drawn on the Mandeville branch of National Commercial Bank, are marked ACCOUNT #1 ROADS & WORKS DEPARTMENT, should not be accepted
According to the council, persons seeking further clarification should contact its administrative offices.
