Children from Waterhouse and Seaview Gardens gather yesterday in downtown Kingston in front of Secret Gardens, a monument erected as a tribute to children who died under violent circumstances. The visit to the site formed part of activities organised by J Wray & Nephew, as part of its outreach programme to mark Nelson Mandela Day, which was observed across the globe yesterday. A total of 67 children were treated, which was symbolic of the 67 years Mandela spent fighting for the rights of humanity. The children were also taken on a movie outing at the Palace Cineplex at the Sovereign Centre in Liguanea. (Photo: Joseph Wellington)
