Man arrested after ganja found in car trunk

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A man was arrested in St Elizabeth after he was found transporting 110 pounds of ganja on Sunday.

Police reports say that the man was stopped after they spotted him driving recklessly in a Nissan Sunny motorcar on the Fullers Wood main road at about 6:00pm.

The ganja, valued at $110,000, was found contained in five garbage bags in the car trunk.

The driver’s identity is being withheld pending additional investigations.
