Man dies in Clarendon crash

Twenty-one-year-old Keno McDermott, a mason of Ballards River district, Clarendon, died as a result of injuries he sustained when the bicycle he was riding collided with a motor car in Pennants district in the parish last night.

Reports from the Chapleton Police are that about 8:00 pm, McDermott was riding along the roadway when his bicycle collided with a Toyota Corolla motor car. The police were summoned and McDermott was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigations are ongoing.
