Children escape leaking boat, man drowns

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Thirty-three-year-old Errol Taylor, a construction worker of Mount Zion in Red Hills, St. Andrew is suspected to have drowned in Green Island, Hanover today.

Reports from the Green Island Police are that about 10:00 am, Taylor and two children, ages nine and 15, had gone fishing on a small boat, which reportedly developed a leak. The two children were able to swim to shore, but Taylor reportedly drowned before help could reach him.

The Green Island Police are investigating.
