A 26-year-old man was shot and killed by gunmen in Dunbeholden in St Catherine last night.

He has been identified as Denton Whyte of Dunbeholden.

The police say Whyte was at home playing dominoes with a group of men at about 7:00 last evening when a Toyota Corolla motorcar with three men onboard arrived on the scene.
Police report that the men approached the group and opened fire hitting Whyte.
The other men escaped unhurt.
Whyte was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
