Man killed in suspected hit and run

JOSEPH Campbell of Hampstead district in Runaway Bay, St Ann, was killed in a suspected hit and run on the Salem main road in the parish yesterday morning.
Reports from the Runaway Bay Police are that about 6:55 am, a team of officers was on patrol in the area when they came across the body lying on the roadway.
Investigators from the Accident Investigation and Reconstruction Unit were called in and a preliminary probe has led them to theorise that Campbell may have been the victim of a hit and run.
