AN employee of Hardware and Lumber was shot and killed by gunmen in front of the store along Slipe Road, St Andrew this morning.
The man has been identified as Michael Thompson, 40.
Police said they received reports about gunshots in the area around 7:30 am.
Thompson’s body was found in the middle of the road with gunshot wounds.
A release from the company said Thompson, who was a lumber associate, arrived at work, went inside the store to put his bag down, then went out to the gate of the establishment, at which time he was shot.
