ST ANDREW, Jamaica — The body of 76-year-old Keith Coke was found slumped over the steering wheel of a truck at the front of a property he was overseeing along Red Hills Road this morning.

The body was clad only in blue underpants, with slash wounds to the throat and stab wounds to the chest and left hand.

Reports are that the manager of Home International Limited arrived at work some time after 6:00 am and found the walk-in gate to the property open.

He made calls to Coke's phone, which went unanswered. Further checks led to the discovery of the gruesome scene, police told the Jamaica Observer.

Coke wasn't an employee of the company, but had been unofficially overseeing the property at nights for the past two weeks, police said.

A 32-inch Toshiba television was taken from the property.

It's not known how Coke came to be inside the truck.

Investigations are underway.
