MANCHESTER, Jamaica -- The Constabulary Communications Network (CCN) has confirmed the shooting death of a man at a night club in Mandeville, Sunday morning.
Dead is Setron Clarke, 41, of New Hall District in the parish.
Police reports are that at about 4:45am Clarke and a security guard were at the entrance of the establishment in Nashville when the security guard’s licensed firearm fell from his waist.
In an attempt to retrieve the firearm several rounds were reportedly discharged and Clarke and another male patron were shot.
Both men were taken to the hospital where Clarke died, police say.
