MANDEVILLE, Manchester — Seventeen year old Kevin Mignott has been charged with murder following the stabbing death of a woman here yesterday morning.
According to the police, the deceased, Natasha Dixon, 29, a former newspaper vendor of Grey Ground, was killed at about 5:30 am during a dispute with Mignott.
It is alleged that the two were at a nightclub when Dixon shared a dance with another man, which allegedly caused Mignott to become jealous and an argument developed between the two.
Both were asked to leave the club, but allegedly continued the argument on the road. It apparently escalated and the woman was allegedly stabbed.
The injured Dixon reportedly ran to the nearby Mandeville Police Station where she collapsed some metres from the guardroom.
Dixon is the mother of six children.
Yesterday, the Police High Command said it would investigate allegiations that the police responded slowly when Dixon went to the station for assistance.
