The government will name a replacement for former Ambassador to Washington Audrey Marks in in a few days, according to Minster without portfolio responsible for Information, Sandra Falconer, who spoke to reporters during the Jamaica House press briefing today.
"There are certain diplomatic positions that are political and it is a part of the course that when a government changes, that persons in those positions resign and are replaced by a person who the current government chooses," she said.
She said the person has already been chosen and will be announced during the course of this week.
