Wednesday, September 19, 2012 | 9:45 AM
KINGSTON, Jamaica - Grief counselors from the Ministry of Education were this morning counseling students from the Meadowbrook High School after the sudden death of a grade nine teacher yesterday.
Harvey Heaven collapsed and died while teaching students from the Grade 9E class yesterday.
The 9E students were singled out for a special round of counseling in their classroom.
During devotion at the school this morning, administrators announced that classes would be put off until midday.
Teachers and students were seen openly crying at Heaven’s sudden passing.
A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of his death.
