THE Jamaica Observer's Sharla Murray-Wright on Wednesday copped the Best Service Agent Award in the category of print at the Advertising Agencies Association of Jamaica's annual Media Awards held at the Terra Nova Hotel in Kingston.
At the same time, the Observer won the Media of the Year Runner-up trophy and was also the runner-up Media of the Year in the category of print, which was won by The Gleaner Company.
Other media houses, including Television Jamaica (TVJ), Irie FM, CVM Television, RJR, Mello FM along with printing housing and outdoor advertising agencies were presented with awards. The Gleaner Company was awarded top media of the year.
