Midnight buses for FNO!
State owned bus company supports landmark event
Jamaica Observer
Wednesday, September 08, 2010
THE Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) will be extending its operating hours this Friday in support of Fashion’s Night Out celebrated by the Jamaica Observer.
The state-owned bus company, which normally operates up to 10:30 pm daily, will extend the service to midnight on Friday along most of its main operating routes. This will include the Corporate Area generally, as well as routes to Spanish Town and Portmore in St Catherine.
With Fashion’s Night Out scheduled to end at 10:00 pm, it is projected that the two-hour span up to midnight should be enough time for commuting shoppers to be able to get their bus ride home after the event.
