Millions of dollars, firearm seized in St Elizabeth raid

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A man was taken into custody in connection with the seizure of millions of dollars in various currencies, a firearm and ammunition in St Elizabeth yesterday.
Reports are that during an operation between 5:30am and 10:30am in the Dunder Hill area a house was searched and the items discovered.
US$27,000, CA$2,500 andJ$1 million were found as well as a 9mm Beretta pistol, and 32 9mm cartridges.
The identity of the man has not been revealed.
Investigations continue.
