Most tax offices open for business

TAX Administration Jamaica (TAJ) wishes to advise its customers that most tax offices are open for business today, but will close at 3:00 this afternoon.
They will reopen for business at the normal time tomorrow.
However, the offices on the eastern section of the island remain closed due to the challenges experienced by staff at some locations following the passage of Hurricane Sandy.
Following a clean-up exercise and based on the availability of staff, the following tax offices should reopen tomorrow:
- Morant Bay
- Port Morant
- Port Antonio
- Buff Bay
- Annotto Bay
- Port Maria
The public is reminded that they may experience delays and inconvenience at some locations, however, TAJ is working to have operations returned to normalcy in the shortest possible time.
