KINGSTON, Jamaica — Investigators are probing the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of the deputy chief of security at the Jamaica Postal Service Barrington Davis.
Initial reports are that Davis was abducted.
Police information and a family-member account is that before Davis allegedly went missing he sent a text message to a friend.
"The text said that he was ok but it was after the conversation that his security company received a signal from a panic button at his home," the family member disclosed.
The family member said that subsequent checks at Davis’ Spanish Town home last night revealed that the house was ransacked.
Davis’ car was also missing.
Investigations continue.
