Norman Grant returned as JAS president

MAY PEN, Jamaica — SENATOR Norman Grant has been re-elected unopposed as the Jamaican Agricultural Society (JAS) president.

The election was held the Society's annual general meeting held today at Denbigh in Clarendon.

Immediate Past-President, Montego Bay Mayor Glendon Harris was nominated but gracefully declined.

Grant previously served as JAS president losing the seat to Harris in 2009.
