KINGSTON, Jamaica – Seventy-two per cent of respondents in the OBSERVER ONLINE poll feel that the Jamaican dollar will reach $120 to one US dollar by June of this year.

After an almost two-week period, there were 6,496 respondents to the question, ‘Do you think the Jamaican dollar will reach $120 to one US dollar by June 2014’?

And as the Jamaican dollar reached $107.21 to one United States dollar on Monday, January 27, in a free market system, it’s really anyone’s guess where the local currency will be positioned mid-year.
