OPM says no UDC chairman appointed

THE Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) in a press release issued today, said there have been no appointments of members to the various boards of management of entities, including the Urban Development Corporation (UDC).
Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller said the process of identifying board appointees is ongoing, but no decision has been made, despite media reports to the contrary.
She said the practice of appointing executive chairmen of boards has been discontinued.
The OPM will issue the appropriate advisory of appointments to the various boards as soon as these have been finalised.
