Observer Food Awards honours Wisynco, Helen Willinsky

Wisynco's Andrew Mahfood (left) is presented with the Observer Food Awards Chairman's Award by the newspaper's chairman Gordon 'Butch' Stewart at last night's 12th annual staging of the event at Devon House in Kingston. The 45-year-old St Catherine-based distribution company was recognised for its contribution to the local food industry.
A total of 31 individuals and companies were presented with awards at what is considered the Caribbean's most prestigious culinary event. (Right) Jerk maven Helen Willinsky of Helen's Tropical-Exotics receives the Food Awards Lifetime Achievement Award from Observer Deputy Chairman Adam Stewart.
