Official Funeral for Roger Clarke

LATE Agriculture Minister Roger Clarke will be accorded an official funeral on September 13, the Government has said.

A press release from the Office of the Prime Minister late yesterday stated that the funeral service will take place at St George's Anglican Church in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, at 10:30 am and the interment will follow at Glen Islay, Williamsfield, in the parish.

Clarke died last Thursday in Florida. He was on his way home when he collapsed at the airport after an apparent heart attack.

Clarke had been in the sunshine state since July for back surgery.
