James Redwood of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) gets up close to one of the participants at yesterday's second day of a classical workshop at Kingston College.. Another workshop is planned for Friday at the Edna Manley College School of Music in Kingston. The British-based RPO, which landed in Jamaica on Monday on a seven-day visit, will stage the first of two performances at the Northern Caribbean University in Manchester today. The second performance will take place on Saturday at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Kingston. The visits and concerts are being organised by National Youth Orchestra of Jamaica. Proceeds from the events will go towards proceeds the 'Music for Social Change' programme. (Photo: Garfield Robinson)
