KINGSTON, Jamaica – The People’s National Party (PNP) candidate/councillor for the Trafalgar Division, Kari Douglas, was involved a motor vehicle crash along Old Hope Road in St Andrew last night
According to a PNP statement, Douglas had just entered her motor car, which was stationary, when it was allegedly hit head on by a car coming down Old Hope Road.
Member of Parliament for South East St Andrew, Julian Robinson, in whose constituency the Trafalgar Division falls, said that while Douglas was not seriously injured, the PNP is wishing her a very speedy recovery and is calling on all participating in the local government election campaign, to be overly careful as they traverse the roadways
“Our party is very happy that Councillor Kari Douglas will be okay and able to quickly return to the ground to be with the people,” Robinson said.
