Paralympian Cunningham celebrates birthday on Games opening day
KINGSTON, Jamaica - Paralympian Alphanso Cunningham, affectionately called "Anancy" is celebrating his birthday today, the opening day of the Paralympic Games in London.
Anancy, who represented the country in Athens in 2004, turns 31 today.
The athlete will compete in the men's discus and javelin throws beginning September 4.
He is part of a three person team, including Tanto Campbell who captains the team and Sylkvia Grant.
