Person implicated in Bunny Francis’ murder released

THE police, acting on the advice of independent doctors, have allowed the person taken into custody Tuesday for the murder of Roderick ‘Bunny’ Francis to return to his home under supervision.
The person in question is suffering from a number of ailments and had to be hospitalised Tuesday evening following his detention and the start of the interview process, the police said.
He was released from hospital last evening after which the required interview was completed. A case file will now be submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for a ruling.
The police said they will closely monitor the situation.
