KINGSTON, Jamaica - The police High Command has asked all members in Area One, especially those working in the St James division, to be on alert in light of death threats that have surfaced.

It is believed that these threats are in retaliation to the fatal shootings of three men on Wednesday, August 22 on Felicity Road in the parish.

The police High Command has warned officers that the threats “must be taken very seriously in the context of its origin and the vulnerability of some officers”.

The High Command implored members to take extra precaution as they carry out their duties or go about their private lives.
