THE police yesterday advised members of the public attending today's Inter-Secondary School Boys and Girls Athletics Championship to take precaution to secure their valuables.

The holders of licensed firearms were asked to leave them at the police station and not in their parked vehicles, as this practice is not safe. According to the police, there have been theft of several firearms in recent times because they were left in motor vehicles.

Champs patrons were also advised to use the areas designated for parking in an effort to secure their motor vehicles.
