Police kills wanted man in Westmoreland

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police in Westmoreland today shot and killed a man wanted for two murders and the disappearance of a soldier in St Andrew.

According to the police Oniel ‘Mr Cool’ Green was fatally shot in Westmoreland this morning during a confrontation with the police at Kilmarnock district in the parish.
Green was listed as wanted by the St Andrew South police on Tuesday of this week.

The 33-year-old was wanted for the murders of Raymond Webb and Collin Dale as well as the disappearance of Private Davir Marston.
Those incidents were committed in St Andrew between September 2011 and October 2012.

A Glock-17 pistol with the serial number erased and several live rounds were recovered.

The shooting has been reported to INDECOM, the police said.
