Police respond to report of threat, seize firearm

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica -- The Black River police on Friday responded to a reported case of threat in the vicinity of the bus park on High Street in St Elizabeth and seized a Smith and Wesson .38 revolver, while also arresting two men in the process.

The police have not released the names of the men.

Reports are that a team of officers responded to the reported case about 8:40 am. On their arrival, they accosted two men, searching them and the area, and seized the firearm along with three rounds of ammunition.
