Police seek witnesses in bus conductor killing

KINGSTON, Jamaica - The police are seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of circumstances surrounding the death of a conductor who was reportedly kicked from a Coaster bus Wednesday morning.

The conductor, who has since been identified as Trevor Wright, also known as “Shorty” or “Geico”, was reportedly kicked off the bus along the Spanish Town Road in the vicinity Riverton City, St Andrew at about 11:00am.

Wright hit the asphalt and was run over by a motor vehicle travelling behind the bus.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Hunt’s Bay Police at 923-7111 or 923-6197.
