Police seize gun, ammo downtown Kingston

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Kingston Central police have removed yet another illegal weapon from the nation’s streets.
The police report that an operation was conducted in the Foster Lane area of Kingston between 12:00 noon to 4:30pm Monday.
A premises was searched and a Springfield 40-calibre pistol with serial number erased was found along with six 40-calibre cartridges.
No one was arrested in connection with the find.
