Police seize half ton of ganja in Manchester

KINGSTON, Jamaica — More than one thousand pounds of ganja was seized in Manchester on Wednesday.

Reports are that the Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division went on an operation in the Kingsland district at about 6:00pm where the contraband was found on a premises.

Forty-six bags of compressed ganja were confiscated and two men taken into custody.

The identities of the men have are being withheld pending further investigations.
