PORTMORE, Jamaica — Police have increased their presence in section of Portmore in their drive to clamp down on illegal bus and taxi operators.

"After covering a number of areas across the Corporate Area traffic police have turned their attention to Portmore," Superintendent Radcliffe Lewis head of traffic division said this morning.

According to the police since the start of the clamp down a number of operators have been arrested for a number of breaches.

"We will continue with our drive and will not leave until the illegal operators are removed," said Lewis.
