Police say they are preparing to question two men who were held following the discovery of a high-tech hydroponics ganja farm at a house in Norbrook Mews, St Andrew on Monday.

Reports are that at about 2:30pm members of the Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division went to a property in the upscale community where the illegal farm was found.

"Two men were arrested and close to 200 marijuana seedlings were seized," a police source told the Jamaica Observer.

Police said lighting equipment and a generator valued at more than $200,000 were also confiscated.

According to the law men, discovery of the farm has placed a dent in the operations of criminals in the illegal drug trade.
