Police want help to identify woman’s body

THE police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the body of a woman that was found in Parker Gully, Lethe, St James on Sunday.

The body is of brown complexion, slim build, is about 163 centimetres (5 feet 4 inches) long and clad in a grey T-shirt and blue jeans pants.

The Montego Bay police reported that residents stumbled upon the body and summoned them. On their arrival, the woman's body was seen on a tarpaulin with multiple stab wounds. The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.

Anyone who can assist the police in identifying the body is being asked to contact the Montego Bay Criminal Investigations Branch at 953-6191, 119 or the nearest police station.
