Port Royal Street re-opened

PORT Royal Street in downtown Kingston is now opened to vehicular traffic.

The roadway was closed after an oil tanker overturned yesterday.

Oil from the tanker was seeping towards the Kingston harbour but quick action by the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) prevented any pollutant entering the harbour.
