His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales arrived at Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay on Wednesday at 4:05 pm for a private visit.

Harry, as the youngest child of Diana, Princess of Wales and the grandson of The Queen is called, and who is fifth in line to the throne, is scheduled to depart the island next week Wednesday, March 8.

The prince’s visit to Jamaica to attend the wedding of his close friend Tom "Skipp" Inskip to literary agent Lara Hughes-Young was announced early this year in the British press.

Yesterday, speculation was rife that his girlfriend, actress Meghan Markle who stars in the hit US drama series Suits, will join him.

Track sensation Usain Bolt might very well catch up with his ‘favourite prince’, who famously ‘beat’ the Jamaican world record holder on local soil in 2012, during the Royal’s last official visit to Jamaica when he represented The Queen.

It was not immediately clear where the Prince and his entourage are staying. However, there is a strong belief that the cashmere-chic Round Hill Hotel & Villas is the preferred destination.

Prince Harry is accompanied by heavy security detail.
