Friday, August 24, 2012 | 5:35 PM

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Another employee of the Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) was arrested yesterday in connection with missing motor vehicle documents.

The woman’s arrest brings to nine the total number people who have now been arrested by the Revenue Protection Division (RPD) and charged in the matter.

St James and Kingston account for four each in the past two months.

The RPD is advising the public that only the island’s 29 tax offices can register and transfer motor vehicles and that anyone found with fraudulent documents is liable for prosecution.
