Robbers beat workers, steal cash at Juici Patties

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Robbers escaped with an undetermined sum of money after a hold-up at the Juici Patties store in Bog Walk this morning.
Customers arriving at the location were greeted with the sight of a Jamaica Constabulary Force Scene of Crime Unit, the standard yellow crime scene tape, and closed gates.
One worker, who declined to identify himself, told the Jamaica Observer that the hoodlums struck at dawn.
"The bakers normally come in at 5:00 am to start the work so they watched and pounced," he said.
"Right now they are inside the building, they are shaken up. They beat them up and put them to lie down," the individual said.
"They were beaten up but not to the point where they have to be hospitalised," he added.
