SANDALS Resorts International (SRI) yesterday announced the appointment of Senior Superintendent of Police James Forbes as corporate security consultant.

"In his newly created role, Forbes will be tasked with providing in-depth reviews of the company's comprehensive loss prevention and security systems, including its personnel, property, and electronic security, as well as contracted security companies across all resorts and group companies," SRI said in a release yesterday.

"A well-respected security professional with expert training both locally and internationally, Forbes has been given a mandate to adopt 'Best in Class' systems throughout our business. We're proud to be associated with someone with such an exceptional track record and one who has provided over 34 years of sterling service to the police force. We are delighted to welcome him to the team," said SRI CEO Adam Stewart.
