A section of the large crowd of shoppers who flocked Appliance Traders' Limited's (ATL) Kingston branch yesterday at 8:00 am, hours before the start of the Jamaica Observer's Celebration of Fashion's Night Out (FNO). About 200 television sets disappeared from shelves in under an hour as shoppers took advantage of ATL's early start to the five-hour sale event. ATL was among hundreds of participating stores islandwide which offered discounts of up to 70 per cent on merchandise.
